Tennessee Valley Energy Enterprise “Corridor Partnerships in Action”
The Tennessee Valley Energy Enterprise workshop, which took place on March 12 at Oak Ridge Associated Universities, highlighting the Energy Parks Initiative was a huge success.  Over 220 people from the Tennessee Valley Corridor (TVC) region learned first-hand how to take advantage of valuable Corridor partnerships to reduce the footprint of the Department of Energy by converting federal property and assets into business opportunities.  With science and technical expertise from both the public and private sector in this region, the Initiative allows the TVC to focus on research and development related to energy efficiency and further exploration of renewable energy sources in these energy parks.
